Inverse Spectral Analysis : the Case of Discrete Spectrum
نویسنده
چکیده
We discuss results where the discrete spectrum (or partial information on the discrete spectrum) and partial information on the potential q of a one-dimensional Schrr odinger operator H = ? d 2 dx 2 + q determine the potential completely. Included are theorems for nite intervals and for the whole line. In particular, we pose and solve a new type of inverse spectral problem involving fractions of the eigenvalues of H on a nite interval and knowledge of q over a corresponding fraction of the interval. The methods employed rest on Weyl m-function techniques and densities of zeros of a class of entire functions.

Inverse scattering problem for the Impulsive Schrodinger equation with a polynomial spectral dependence in the potential
In the present work, under some di¤erentiability conditions on the potential functions , we rst reduce the inverse scattering problem (ISP) for the polynomial pencil of the Scroedinger equation to the corresponding ISP for the generalized matrix Scrödinger equation . Then ISP will be solved in analogy of the Marchenko method. We aim to establish an e¤ective algorithm for uniquely reconstructin...
متن کاملFree and Forced Transverse Vibration Analysis of Moderately Thick Orthotropic Plates Using Spectral Finite Element Method
In the present study, a spectral finite element method is developed for free and forced transverse vibration of Levy-type moderately thick rectangular orthotropic plates based on first-order shear deformation theory. Levy solution assumption was used to convert the two-dimensional problem into a one-dimensional problem. In the first step, the governing out-of-plane differential equations are tr...
متن کاملGENERATION OF MULTIPLE SPECTRUM-COMPATIBLE ARTIFICIAL EARTHQUAKE ACCELEGRAMS WITH HARTLEY TRANSFORM AND RBF NEURAL NETWORK
The Hartley transform, a real-valued alternative to the complex Fourier transform, is presented as an efficient tool for the analysis and simulation of earthquake accelerograms. This paper is introduced a novel method based on discrete Hartley transform (DHT) and radial basis function (RBF) neural network for generation of artificial earthquake accelerograms from specific target spectrums. Acce...

متن کاملGENERATION OF SYNTHETIC EARTHQUAKE RECORDS BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES
For seismic resistant design of critical structures, a dynamic analysis, based on either response spectrum or time history is frequently required. Due to the lack of recorded data and randomness of earthquake ground motion that might be experienced by the structure under probable future earthquakes, it is usually difficult to obtain recorded data which fit the necessary parameters (e.g. soil ty...
